New Overhead Cranes & Material Handling Equipment

Flatiron offers a full range of cranes, hoists, and runway systems tailored to your specific application. From light manufacturing to large-scale production, we deliver robust, long-term solutions precision engineered for safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Cranes and Hoists for Any Industrial Application

Flatiron cranes aren’t based on standard designs, they’re based around the specific needs of your production. Our custom-engineered solutions are built to optimize operations with unusual spans, layouts, capacities, and hook approaches, even ones that require tandem lifting. Each component is engineered and tested, to ensure it’s capable of performing in tough environments that handle heavy, irregular, and potentially hazardous loads on a daily basis.

Overhead Cranes

Lifting systems that travel along the ceiling and above workstations, overhead cranes lift, move, and position materials that are too large, heavy, or dangerous to handle manually. With capacities ranging from a few hundred pounds to a few hundred tons, they keep floors and work spaces clear while transferring loads between staging areas, production lines, and loading docks.

Bridge Cranes

Mounted on a set of overhead runways, bridge cranes lift, move, and position materials along three axes. Consisting of a hoist, trolley, and bridge that spans your entire work area, they are designed to transport heavy loads safely and efficiently, with pinpoint precision.

Jib Cranes

Attached to a wall or freestanding column, jib cranes are designed to handle small, repetitive lifting tasks at a specific workspace or assembly station. Their trolley and hoist is mounted on a long boom arm, allowing workers to move materials within a circular or semi-circular area.

Gantry Cranes

Supported by a set of freestanding legs, gantry cranes move back and forth on a set of rails or directly on the floor to deliver loads with the help of a hoist and trolley mounted on their central beam. Because they’re standalone systems, they are commonly used in spaces without overhead building support.

Workstation Cranes

Lightweight lifting systems built for small loads, workstation cranes are modular systems that can be quickly expanded or reconfigured to accommodate your operational and production needs. Their ergonomic design allows workers to move heavy materials with minimal strain.

Transfer Cars

Transfer cars are sturdy, motorized platforms used to transport heavy loads along the floor, guided by a set of rails or tracks. Because they follow fixed paths between workstations and assembly areas, they streamline movement while reducing the risk of accidents.
